We lent to Iceland’s national power company, Landsvirkjun – a wholly green producer of energy. The transaction structure is specifically linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) as set out by the UN, whereby the coupon charged to the borrower fluctuates with how the borrower performs relative to specific SDG targets.

We financed the development of a new learning foundry – the world’s first dedicated energy, environment and engineering institute – at Ireland’s oldest and most prestigious university, Trinity College Dublin.

We provided a fixed-term loan to help Mars fund the acquisition of an animal hospital chain. This gave us an unique opportunity to access debt of one of the largest privately held companies, with no public debt at the time of transaction.

We made available £100 million in long-term financing to Bromford Housing Group. the largest provider of affordable homes across Central and South West England. The funding will help Bromford deliver 12,000 new affordable homes over the next decade.
